Mission:

The OWBC Scholarship Program promotes and encourages post High School education for all middle and high school students in Round Rock and neighboring communities.

Objectives The program provides financial, academic, and material support to potential candidates of post High School secondary education by a team of volunteers. It supplements parents and regular school program by assisting students to achieve post High School secondary education. The program first focuses on OWBC youth and their parents and has since been extended to the Round Rock and neighboring communities.

Focus Areas

	Community Outreach:
		Provide mentoring to students who requested it

	Career Counseling and Intervention:
		Provide pre-college calendar of academic related events for students and parents.
		Extra curricular activities that are valuable for gaining college admission.
		College admission education sessions with follow-up for both students and parents.

	Referral Services:
		Provide SAT and Pre-SAT preparatory information.
		Assist students to prepare for standardized and scholastic tests (Pre-SAT and SAT) so as to eliminate anxieties, incorrect answers, etc.
		Provide brochures and Internet links for scholarship information and useful higher education websites.
